Our Panel
Sarah Playford

Sarah is a freelance composer based in London. She has written scores for Film, Television (factual and scripted) and Theatre. Her music is often minimal, not just in terms of style but also space, thinking more in terms of textures and colours which often dictate her soundscapes.
Recent projects include Channel 4’s critically acclaimed factual drama Dirty Business, which premiered earlier in 2026. Having been played in parliament, the series is due to have it’s first UK festival screening at Edinburgh International Television Festival later this year; feature documentary AI: PROBABLY NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT (72 Film, Freemantle), which premiered at Tribeca’s 25th anniversary festival; and the documentary series THE GIRL WHO…
