Short Skills Workshops
Action On The Side is run by an educator with experience teaching practical filmmaking at FE and HE levels. We are able to run short filmmaking workshops that develop practical filmmaking skills in a collaborative environment.
Two Days
We run a two-day weekend workshop where participants shoot and edit a simple narrative story, fulfilling crew roles with guidance.
Three Days
Over the course of a long weekend, participants learn script structure and writing, production and post production for a short story.
Five Days
Suitable for media programmes, groups of students are challenged to make a narrative short film in a week - like a longer 48-hour film competition.
