Are you up for the challenge?
The Action On The Side 48 Hour Film Competition is ramping up. Teams are organising cast, crew, equipment and locations. Individual filmmakers are registering to join a team on the day. We're promoting all over. The judges are preparing. It is happening.
The competition runs from 8pm (UK Time) Friday 5th to 8pm Sunday 7th July. Teams will have just 48 hours to write, shoot, edit, and submit a 5-7 minute short film. With a few extra challenges added for good measure.
The Competition Kick Off Event is Friday 5th July, 7pm-8pm, at House of Transformation in Haggerston.
This is where we give tips, announce a new ... ... okay, you've got to wait for that tidbit ..., announce & allocate the genres, and announce the three random elements.
Teams are competing to win AWARDS, including BEST SCREENPLAY, BEST PERFORMANCE, BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY, BEST EDITING, BEST SOUNDTRACK, and, of course
BEST FILM!
We return to ActOne Cinema in Acton for our Awards and Screening Event. This will be held in Screen 1 on Sunday 4th August. There will be limited tickets for teams, but it's a must-attend event! See the films on the big screen! See your film with an audience! Be up to win awards!
