We are very excited to be running our next 48* Hour Film Competition this weekend.
There's still time to register. The competition runs 8pm Friday to 8pm Sunday -- and because clocks go back for daylight savings, the competition is 49 hours!
The competition runs 20:00 BST Friday 24th October to 20:00 GMT Sunday 26th October.
Teams can take part from anywhere in the world!
Most of our teams are based in London and the UK. We have one team from Arizona, USA.
We also have the option for filmmakers based in London to join a team on the day -- and we already have enough for two teams in that category.
Teams will have just 49 hours to write, shoot, edit, and submit a 5-7 minute short film.
Their films must include a set genre, prop, line of dialogue, and shot or filmmaking technique. These are announced at the Kick-Off Event -- taking place on Zoom and in person at OPEN Ealing.
The films will premiere at ActOne Cinema and Cafe on Sunday 30th November.
The teams are competing for prizes, including trophies, laurels, mentorship, and of course bragging rights.
