We are running a series of virtual pub quizzes to raise funds for charity and the local filmmaking community.
In March we ran our first Virtual Pub Quiz, raising funds for Me Too Short Film and ActionAid. The questions were written by Joel V as part of the virtual work experience we ran for Level 3 Media students in March 2021.
Our Next Pub Quiz is this coming Saturday (24th), 7pm-9pm
Tickets are £5. Half the proceeds will be donated to SILVERBACK: The Web Series and half will be donated to St Giles Trust
SILVERBACK
SILVERBACK is a six-part sci-fi thriller web series. Taking inspiration from comic books and the superhero genre, this series follows Dee, an ex-offender, as she investigates the mysterious death of her younger brother Arinze: a tech prodigy-turned-masked vigilante. They are currently trying to raise £15000 towards production through Project Greenlight.
ST GILES TRUST
A charity that works with ex-offenders, vulnerable women and adults & young people facing unemployment. Each year, they help 25,000 vulnerable and disadvantaged people across the UK, who face unimaginable barriers in society.
The Pub Quiz will be run through Google Meets. Once you sign up, you will receive a Google Calendar Invitation. All you need to take part is a webcam and microphone. Join us for a fun evening of trivia and feel good knowing you're supporting two excellent causes.
