The Ealing 48 is a new 48-hour film competition that we're running.
Get your team together! You'll have just 48 hours to write, shoot, edit, and submit a 5-7 minute short film. But that's not the only challenge -- your film must be in the genre we allocate to you, and it must include the random elements we announce: a prop, a line of dialogue, and a shot or filmmaking technique.
The competition runs from 8pm Friday 3rd to 8pm Sunday 5th November.
The random elements and genres will be announced at the KICK OFF event, 7pm-8pm Friday 3rd November, at OPEN Ealing. The kick-off event includes tips and tricks for the competition, and is a good chance to meet the organisers and other teams.
You can take part from anywhere in the world, not just Ealing! The kick-off event will be streamed and the submission is online.
The top teams will have their films screened at ActOne Cinema on Sunday 26th November, 11am to 1pm. They'll get support in distributing and promoting their film, and will be up for prizes and the grand trophy!
